Monday dinner is Shrimp Two Ways!

Brought some fresh shrimp back to Atlanta from the gulf and decided to cook them immediately.  We boiled a half pound and tossed with cajun seasoning to keep that fresh flavor in tact and the other half pound we cooked in a homemade asian bbq sauce and served over jasmine rice with chives.  Amazing...

  1. I like the look of that asian one...

Since Kenze;s family is from Baltimore we have done a lot of old bay steemed shrimp lately, I like using a nice dark beer as the liquid.

  3. hahaha, our recipes are usually thrown together and keep our fingers crossed. get your skrimp, toss them in a bowl with some olive oil, small amount of soy sizzle, a liberal amount of thai spicy sauce and some ginger feesh sauce that you can get at any grocery store. place on a baking sheet with a good amount of butter (maybe close to half a stick) scattered in cubes around the shrimp. this butter is going to melt and mix with the marinade and make an amazing sauce. cook in the OVEN, yeah oven, at 420 degrees for about 7-8 minutes. cut up some fresh chives and serve over jasmine rice. drizzle the sizzle from the butter and marinade on top.
