This recipe requires special equipment: a BGE (big green egg) and a pizza stone made specially for the BGE. We got pizza dough from our local pizzeria and i picked up the folllowing deliciuos ingredients: fresh spinach, fresh arugula, thinly sliced prosciutto, boar's head pepperoni, fresh variety of mushrooms, mozzarella and feta cheese.
We heated the BGE with the pizza stone up to 350 degrees and dressed the pizza on the grill.
These were our pies:
- pepperoni and mushroom pizza
- prosciutto pizza with arugula tossed in lemon and olive oil
- pepperoni, feta and spinach za (pictured)
Delicious and fun! 4 noms. It was so good I forgot to take a pic until the last pizza.
